BIOREPEEL GLASS SKIN FACIAL IN NEWCASTLE
BioRePeel is a biphasic TCA peel performed by our Registered Nurses at Kaia Aesthetics, Suite A, 119-121 King Street, Newcastle. It is commonly used for dullness, uneven tone, congestion and early signs of sun damage.
A session takes around 30 minutes and costs $250. Kaia was one of the first clinics in Newcastle to offer BioRePeel.
WHAT IS BIOREPEEL?
BioRePeel is not a traditional chemical peel. Most peels use a single acid at a set strength, which is applied and then neutralised.
BioRePeel is a biphasic formula. It combines TCA (trichloroacetic acid) with amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants in one solution. It does not need a separate neutralising step, and it is designed to exfoliate while supporting the skin rather than stripping it.
It is often called the "glass skin facial" because of the smooth, fresh look it aims for.

WHAT HAPPENS AT YOUR APPOINTMENT
-
Your Registered Nurse assesses your skin and discusses your goals.
-
Your skin is cleansed.
-
The BioRePeel solution is applied in layers. No numbing is needed. Most people feel mild tingling or warmth.
-
The solution is removed and your skin is soothed and protected with SPF.
The treatment takes around 30 minutes.
DOWNTIME AND AFTERCARE
Most people return to normal activities the same day. Some light flaking can occur over the following days, and this varies from person to person.
Avoid exfoliants, retinoids and strong actives for a few days after treatment, and use SPF 50+ daily. Your nurse will tell you what to expect for your skin type.

One session gives a refresh. For concerns such as congestion or uneven tone, a course of four sessions spaced one to two weeks apart is common. Your nurse will recommend a plan at your assessment.
PRICE

BioRePeel: $250 per session, or $900 for a 4-session package
COMBINING TREATMENTS
BioRePeel is part of our Acne, Pigmentation and Problematic Skin Package, together with SkinPen microneedling and Healite II LED therapy. Skin concerns are rarely solved by one treatment alone, so we often combine them.
WHO PERFORMS YOUR TREATMENT
All BioRePeel treatments at Kaia are performed by AHPRA-registered Registered Nurses. Clinic director Teah Blayden holds a Monash University accreditation in [course name].
BIOREPEEL FAQS
Will my skin peel after BioRePeel?
Some people see light flaking for a few days. Many see very little. It is much milder than a traditional medium-depth peel.
Does BioRePeel hurt?
Most people feel mild tingling or warmth while the solution is on. No numbing is needed.
Can I wear make-up after a BioRePeel?
It is best to wait until the next day so your skin can settle. Your nurse will confirm this for your skin.
Is BioRePeel suitable for acne-prone skin?
It is commonly used for congestion and breakouts. Suitability depends on your skin and any medication you use, which we check at your assessment.
How is BioRePeel different from a standard chemical peel?
It combines TCA with amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants in a biphasic formula and needs no neutralising step. It aims to exfoliate while supporting the skin barrier.
