BIOREPEEL EXPLAINED: WHAT IT IS AND WHO IT SUITS
BioRePeel isn't a traditional chemical peel, even though it's often grouped in with one.
Most peels rely on a single acid at a set strength, applied and then neutralised. BioRePeel is a biphasic formulation, meaning it combines a low percentage of TCA (trichloroacetic acid) with amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants in the one solution. Because of how it's formulated, it doesn't require a separate neutralising step, and it's designed to exfoliate while also supporting the skin rather than simply stripping the surface layer.
What a session involves
A BioRePeel treatment takes around 30 minutes. The solution is applied in layers, and no numbing or anaesthetic is required. Some visible peeling or flaking can occur over the days following treatment. This varies from person to person, and your practitioner will talk you through what's typical for your skin type before you leave.
What it tends to be used for
BioRePeel is generally used for dullness, uneven tone, congestion and the early signs of sun damage. It's often chosen by people who want a visible refresh without the longer recovery some other peels involve.
Combining treatments
