ENZYME EXFOLIATION AND SKIN FIRMING: WHAT THE NEW DELUXE TREATMENT DOES

Acids dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells using chemical strength. Physical exfoliants remove them with friction. Enzymes take a different route: they break down the specific protein bonds holding built-up dead skin cells together, using the same kind of biological process the body already uses to shed skin naturally. For skin that reddens or feels reactive with stronger acids or manual exfoliation, this distinction matters.
What's in the treatment
The Deluxe Enzyme Firming Treatment combines three elements in one hour-long session:
enzymatic exfoliation, to lift away built-up dead skin cells without mechanical abrasion
peptide and firming actives, applied to support the skin's own structural proteins
Healite II LED, used to close out the session and support the skin's response to the treatment
Each part does a different job. Together, they reflect how we work at Kaia more broadly: a multi-modality approach, where several considered elements are combined rather than one treatment asked to do everything.
Who it tends to suit
This is a treatment we recommend for skin that feels textured or looks dull, and for anyone wanting a firming, brightening session without downtime. Because enzyme exfoliation doesn't rely on mechanical friction or higher-strength acids, it's also worth discussing at your assessment if your skin is sensitised or reacts easily to other exfoliating treatments.
What to expect
The session runs for about an hour. Most people return to normal activities straight after. As with any skin treatment, your practitioner will talk you through what your skin can expect to look and feel like over the following days as part of your consultation.
Price and booking
The Deluxe Enzyme Firming Treatment is $190 per session, with an introductory price of $150 for a limited time.
